NOTE: If you're worried about scarthing the flat surface you're mounting these plates to I recommend putting a washer or thin spacer between the plate and the work surface due to the locking mechanisim bolts sticking out 1-2mm, will still work fine without this but if you're worried about scratching the surface it'll stop that.
